  • AO SOCIAL REC CLUB 501(c)7 is here to provide a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where individuals with disabilities and those on the autism spectrum can engage in recreational activities, build friendships, and grow life skills through community connection and meaningful participation.

    We vision a world where every individual, regardless of ability, has access to inclusive recreation, real friendships, and the freedom to thrive in a community that understands and celebrates each other.

  • The AO FOUNDATION 501(c)3 is here to support neurodiverse individuals through flexible, community-based educational and therapeutic programming that promotes independence, life skills, and lifelong learning.

    We vision a future where neurodiverse individuals are empowered through accessible education, practical support, and meaningful opportunities that reflect their unique strengths, needs, and aspirations.

Together, The AO Social Rec Club and The AO Foundation work hand-in-hand to create a safe and empowering space. Whether you’re here to hang out and connect or to build life skills and grow, we a place for you.

Where Social Meets Support

Our model is designed to be flexible and person centered. We believe in the power of community and choice. Our two programs offer different ways to engage, feel supported, and understood.

The AO Social Rec Club

Membership Only

  • 🏀 Inclusive sports leagues (basketball, soccer, and more)

  • 🧩 Special interest clubs (games, art, music, tech, etc.)

  • 💪 Fitness programs (adaptive workouts, group fitness)

  • 🏊‍♀️ Swimming opportunities and water play

  • 🛋️ Leisure lounge with sensory-friendly spaces

  • 🎟️ Community outings (museums, parks, movies, etc.)

  • 💛 “Buddy for a Day” social support volunteers

The AO Foundation

Appointment Only

  • 🧠 Life skills coaching (money, hygiene, time management, etc.)

  • 🗣️ Communication support (speech therapy, AAC education)

  • 🧑‍🏫 Academic tutoring and support

  • 💼 Job readiness and vocational training

  • 🧘 Health & wellness education (nutrition, mental health, etc.)

  • 👐 Occupational therapy & independent living support
